Anthony Magnabosco, Executive Director

Texas, United States

Anthony is a founder of Street Epistemology International and has been Executive Director of the non-profit organization since its inception in 2019. Anthony has been learning, practicing, developing, and promoting Street Epistemology since 2013, as evidenced by hundreds of video examples in addition to dozens of online and in-person talks and workshops conducted domestically and internationally. Anthony is married with two children and wants to make SE commonplace across all facets of society in a variety of forms.

Reid Nicewonder, President

California, United States

Reid is the creator behind the YouTube channel Cordial Curiosity. He has been involved with SE since 2015 and is one of the founders of SEI. He grew up in Bristol, VA and studied film at UCF in Orlando, FL. He directed the feature film Sanctuary, and has been the cinematographer for many short and feature films. In 2022 he was the video producer for Peter Boghossian's Reverse Q&A Tour.

Kevin Elsing, Secretary 

South Dakota, United States

Kevin is a longtime advocate for facilitating lasting positive outcomes one thoughtful person-to-person interaction at a time. Since discovering SE in 2016 and recognizing its potential, he has gone on to lead a local Street Epistemology discussion group and deliver presentations on SE. An entrepreneur and business owner, he brings decades of experience in effective management and operational processes to the board of Street Epistemology International, which he joined as Secretary in 2022. Kevin integrates SE principles into his daily life, business, community, and travels. He and his family, including his wife and two young adult children, all seek to believe true things.

Georgia Phelps, Treasurer

Tennessee, United States

Georgia Phelps became an advocate of Street Epistemology after meeting Anthony Magnabosco in 2016 at a conference in Nashville. Opportunities to support him, his endeavors, and others in the S.E. community followed and grew into a trusted friendship. Her positive social networking skills have made mutually beneficial long-term connections within numerous non-profit circles. She managed a massage therapy sole proprietorship for 13 years, keeping detailed records and preparing her own itemized taxes before retiring in 2020 due to the pandemic, and as of 2022, she lends her bookkeeping skills to SEI as Board Treasurer. Georgia is an avid recumbent triker on Nashville area Greenways, harmony singer for husband Steven's musical projects, curious learner of all things relevant, and always has a jigsaw puzzle in play.

Janosch Rydzy , Board Director

Karlsruhe, Germany

Janosch discovered Street Epistemology in 2016 and soon started giving presentations about it to interested audiences. He worked on organizing a European/German tour for Anthony in 2019, which had to be cancelled due to the pandemic. Janosch joined the Board of Directors of SEI in 2021 and has mostly been involved in supporting international SE communities to connect with each other, as well as SEI's efforts to work with research groups to have Street Epistemology scientifically evaluated. In 2022 Janosch helped found the German non-profit “Sokratischer Weg e.V.” and was elected its president.

Roman Tarasov, Board Director 

Haifa, Israel

Being an educator, Roman discovered Street Epistemology in early 2017 and has been actively involved ever since. He hosted weekly SE practice meetups offline and later online and conducted multiple talks and workshops on SE. Since 2021 he serves as a Board Member for SEI and is currently working on creating various educational materials. Roman values humaneness and truth above all, and always enjoys a good laugh. 

Robert Hamilton, Board Director 

Ontario, Canada

Robert Hamilton has been a practitioner within the Street Epistemology community since 2013. He has applied SE techniques in conversations covering a wide variety of subjects with his work colleagues as well as family and friends. As a hobby, he continues to learn new ways to engage in non-confrontational interactions with others on contentious topics. Robert is president of Humanist Ottawa, vice-president of The New Enlightenment Project (a Canadian humanist initiative), and a member of several Canadian and international secular organizations. He brings to the SEI Board, his experience in project management, business planning, marketing and communications.
